**Fairforest Elementary Named Palmetto’s Finest Finalist**
Fairforest Elementary School has been honored as one of only five finalists for the prestigious Palmetto's Finest award for the 2022-2023 school year. The recognition highlights the exceptional efforts of the school's students, faculty, and staff.
Principal Kerrie Kish accepted the finalist award during a celebration held in Columbia, South Carolina. The event, organized by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA), brought attention to schools demonstrating excellence in academics, programs, and overall student success.
The final winners of the Palmetto’s Finest award will be announced on April 30, 2025. Fairforest Elementary will await the results alongside the other finalists. This accomplishment places Fairforest Elementary among the top-performing schools in the state.
